MEET THE INITIATORS
The beacon for Kannada talents, Sri Nagatihalli Chandrashekhar, and Satya Hegde have teamed up to encourage young, budding filmmakers who are eager to write, shoot, and present Kannada short films.
This short film competition is designed to engage and nurture talent, helping them grow in our Kannada Film Industry.
Tent Cinema [ the best film institute in Bengaluru ], Satya Hegde Studios [ the best digital platform to showcase young talents ] with Digital Partner Sripada Studios, this year’s Cini Mini Kannada Short Film shall be conducted on August 31st.
1. Language: Films must be in Kannada.
2. Length: Films should be between 1-20 minutes.
3. Genre: Documentaries are not permitted; digital animation films are allowed.
4. Entry Fee: Rs. 1000 for Indian nationals and $30 for NRIs.
5. Multiple Entries: Participants are allowed to submit multiple entries.
6. Completion Date: Films must have been completed after January 1, 2023.
7. Submission Deadline: The last date for submission is August 15, 2024.
8. Format: Films should be in MPEG (MP4) or MOV format with a minimum resolution of 1080P.
Tent Cinema Film School is located in Bangalore. It is yet another successful initiative of renowned writer and filmmaker Dr. Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar to introduce fresh artists and technicians into the industry.
